I had a dwarf gouramI with guppies and a lot of the fry got eaten but 3 out of 10 lived to be big enuff to not get eaten so I still had a over abundance of guppies.imo dwarf gouramis are not as fast as scared fry but it my work for you.
That’s because guppies are livebearers. Frozen baby brine shrimp(can be purchased from petsmart) is probably your best choice, smaller than any flake I could ever crush, and guppy fry are very small, it is a great fry food. my babies never eat crushed flakes very well either but they love the brine shrimp.

If they are five weeks old put them in main tank they are fast enough to get away from adults at this age. Maybe cut down on the number of guppies to control the fry population also..
